GIFTED is an extremely interesting experience for young and teen readers starting from the age of nine. For me, I am not exactly sure, but the books were very easy to go through, not many hard words for ages. This is my first book summary, and since I, right now, am only on the third book, I would like to summarize and recommend the first and second book by Marilyn Kaye.
Out of Sight, Out of Mind
Book One in the Gifted Series
Amanda Beeson, of thirteen years old, is the queen of mean. She didn't instantly be like that, though, and her past hadn't been a regular ordinary. One day, she wakes up one morning after mistaking to feel sorry for one of her victims, who she finds is ignored at both home and school, and can be invisible. After 24 hours, she realizes that she had not changed back into her normal body, as this was the longest time she had been there. As her other body, she attends a class of "gifted" students, and finds out the real meaning to that word.
Can Amanda get her body back? Is she willing to join the 'freak' class and reveal her gift, though?
This is an easy-read. There are two views of the story, from Amanda and from Jenna, a friend, of both Amanda and her victim.
